Information on the Processing of Personal Data of Job Applicants

Your privacy is important to us. Below you will find information about how we process the personal data you provide to us when applying for a job or submitting an application through the form on our website.

In connection with the recruitment process, we may process in particular:

  • your first and last name,

  • your email address and telephone number,

  • information contained in your CV,

  • information about your education, qualifications, work experience, knowledge and skills,

  • information contained in your cover or motivation letter,

  • information you provide through the recruitment form or during subsequent communication,

  • any other information you voluntarily provide to us in connection with your job application.

Please do not provide us with personal data that is not necessary for the recruitment process.

3. Purpose of Processing

We process your personal data for the purposes of:

  • receiving and assessing your job application,

  • communicating with you during the recruitment process,

  • assessing your suitability for the relevant position,

  • conducting the recruitment process and potentially entering into an employment or similar contractual relationship with you.

The legal basis for this processing is primarily taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

4. How Long We Retain Your Personal Data

We process your personal data only for the duration of the recruitment process for which you provided us with your personal data.

Once the recruitment process has been completed, we will delete the personal data collected for this purpose unless further retention is required by applicable law.

We do not retain the personal data of unsuccessful applicants for the purpose of contacting them regarding future job opportunities.

5. Who Has Access to Your Personal Data

Your personal data is accessible only to persons who require it for the purposes of the recruitment process, in particular authorised employees of the Controller and persons involved in recruitment.

To the extent necessary, personal data may also be processed by providers of technical and IT services used by the Controller to operate its website and recruitment form. Such providers process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant services.

6. Transfers of Personal Data Outside the European Union

We do not transfer applicants’ personal data to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

7. Your Rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data and subject to the conditions set out by applicable law, you have in particular the right to:

  • request access to your personal data,

  • request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data,

  • request the deletion of your personal data,

  • request restriction of the processing of your personal data,

  • object to processing where the processing is based on a legitimate interest,

  • data portability in cases provided for by the GDPR.

If you believe that we are not processing your personal data in accordance with applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

8. Is Providing Personal Data Mandatory?

Providing personal data through the recruitment form is voluntary. However, without the information necessary to assess your application, we will not be able to process your application or include you in the recruitment process.

We may update this information on the processing of personal data when necessary, in particular if there are changes to the way we process personal data or to the services we use.
